Alzheimer's South Africa

Alzheimer's SA is dedicated to providing support and advocacy for families and will increasingly be able to share the burden of caregiving for people with Alzheimer's/dementia and their carers.

Alzheimer's SA was founded in 1985 and is a non-profit organisation managed by a national executive council.  It is the only organisation in South Africa recognised by Alzheimer's Disease International (ADI) and is dedicated to improving the quality of life of people with dementia and those affected by it.
